Sometimes looking at peaceful images can help with relaxation. Stop all disturbing thoughts and focus on the details of the images and RELAX! Practice this often and you will be able to teach yourself to stay calm in stressful situations.

How did I miss these beautiful pictures
yesterday?
You are so wonderful to share such a
lovely talent with us in bringing these
pictures here.

My screensaver is a similar type
of picture, a tall running waterfall
amid lush vegitation with some
live action, birds flying by and
singing and fish jumping, the croaking of toads (nah no ducks)
I often sit and just look at it because
it is so beautiful, but didn't realize
until now how relaxing that is for me.

Thank you so much. I will return here often just to enjoy these.

This is my fourth trip here today.

I am a water person, finding almost
instant serenity by water, and realized
that all but one of these pictures
have water in them.

This is so strange..I look at these pictures several times each day. They are so
beautiful and I find serenity in water.

Anyway, I have been struggling with the
issue of whether to move west this fall to
join my husband who is working there.
Commuting visits have been working well for us (we're married 33 years and have a
beautiful solid relationship).

When I was there in May we travelled
through the Rockies and these pictures
remind me of that and how much I really
do miss him. I was waiting for an
"answer" from within to tell me what
the right thing to do was, and the right
time, and looking at these pictures told me.
"Go" and "Soon".

Hi Morning Glory, These pictures and music are great. It is wonderful to share them with us. I find relaxation music and photos of nature are able to help me cope. Also, it shows me the beauty that God has created. Isn't it great to be able to enjoy it sober? Thanks Morning Glory, Things were going well and I stopped my Paxil. Then with the wars I started having flash backs. I ended up picking up a drink. I didn,t let it get out of hand . I am back at the VA hospital. I will be out on Friday the 6th. I will be able to return to work. Anyway, the pictures brought a few moments of peace. I will try and hold the image of the water and mountains. I know I just have to follow the programs as directed. I have to go back to the ward for an AA meeting. God Bless you and everyone else for sharing. Don w
