Unhappy One long non stop anxiety attack

Last few days have been one long anxiety attack. Feelings of impending doom and cannot relax or concentrate on anything. Want desperately to sleep it away but can't relax enough to sleep. Sick of feeling like this!

least, have you talked to your doctor about this yet? Aren't you taking prescribed meds? If so, this is a good reason to talk to your prescriber, it might be time for a dosage adjustment or change in what you're taking.

In early sobriety I experienced run-on anxiety, sleeplessness, and those dark feelings of doom, I didn't want life to go on like that so I was looking for the end. I ended up in a mental hospital for a few days. OK, that was a good thing for me, but please don't take this lightly. Get help, call your doctor, and please go to an ER if it gets worse.

You need to goto the ER. They will give you something to relax for a few days. Sometimes you need a little medication to relax and begin to work on your issues. Kinda like a reset button.

Not as bad today as it has been. Drinking chamomile tea to relax some. This too shall pass, soon, I hope.

Least, have you ever done meditation? I know that deep breathing helps me when I feel anxious. The tea is a good idea too. Hang in there!

Anxiety is thru the roof after getting a crying call from pk. Post partum depression is kicking her @ss and I can't do much to help but be there to support her. I'm so worried and feel helpless. I can't "make it better" for her. I wish I could 'do' something but feel powerless.
