Hello all, I am up to 90 mgs now, I was feeling pretty good on 60 mgs, but am still having high blood pressure, doctor still thinks this is due to anxiety, so we are watching it closely. I have noticed that I can concentrate much better, not stumbling over my words like I used to, that feels wonderful, espically at work I would have to ask my boss 2 or 3 times what she told me to do, Thank goodness she loves me. I dont think my appetite has changed, darn it, need to lose weight, but thats ok. I agree that my BP is high because of stress, losing my brother has been the most difficult thing I have ever been through, most times I am also smoking like a freight train, I just am not ready to quit though, one thing at a time, even though I know not smoking has to go up higher on my priorites. So a little good news for once! hugs, sisofD |

(((Sis))) Sorry no one saw this earlier. Glad to hear your concentration is better. It can be such a difficult balance sometimes. And glad you and the doc are working together on watching the blood pressure. So sorry about your brother. I can't imagine the pain. ![]() You'll quit smoking when you're ready. When you are, we're here, on the nicotine forum, to help. ![]() Shalom!

I did post to this, but apparently the black hole ate it! I am glad the Cymbalta is helping; I have done well on it also. You might consider discussing with your doctor getting on blood pressure meds temporarily. I'm on a low dose of Lisinopril (my bottom number was too high for comfort). I understand about the smoking! It's something I definitely need to let go of myself! :ghug :ghug

My anxiety is much better, the blood pressure thing is not bad for the past few days, but it is still higher than it should be, I am thinking of changing doctors, my mom just changed, I feel like mine isnt moving with the BP issues. I dont wanna go on meds if I dont have to, but I also dont want to have something bad happen to me either. So, I keep checking my Bp at different times of the day, sometimes its up and sometimes its normal so I dont know, everyone says dont check it after smoking, well heck I smoke all the time. What do ya do? Thanks for checking on me everyone! hugs, sisofD |
