| I got nothin' | Stress and Pain
Anyone hurt when you get really upset/stressed? An old knee injury hurts...and my elbow...and my back...I'm all tight. I don't want to take any pills....what can I do to alleviate the pain?

Yoga or stretching? Online you can probably find some suggestions for simple stretches (one's that don't have you putting your ankles around your ears.) I do this one a lot, it's called surya namaskar (I think it means "hello sun!" in Hindi.) It's easy and loosens me up a lot. There might be some good natural remedies for you too. Despite the fact that I'm supporting yoga, I'm a bit of a skeptic on "natural medicine." I've heard some people swear by this supplement called glucosamine for joint paint--it's a natural substance the body uses to fix injuries. Research it first, as it's a bit expensive as I recall. Vitamins and such might not be a bad way to go, they might not be as effective as painkillers but their advantage is they not only fix you up but they prevent future pains. Sorry I can't be of specific help, but those might lead you somewhere. Yeah, I get muscle aches when I'm stressed, all the time.
