| Hello
Hi, I was drinking to quiet my overactive brain -- ADD and bipolar -- dual diagnosis. I got put on Strattera for the ADD and I haven't had a drink in a year. No desire. Strattera acts on the same thing that creates the need for alcohol. In fact, I had to say I was addicted to something to get on it for ADD. And I realize I was after I got on it. So if you are ADD and need alcohol every night to quiet your mind, I would recommend this. It's changed my life not drinking alcohol and having no interest in it.

Hi, Belaerb, And welcome to SR and the anxiety forum! ![]() I'm glad to hear your experience with Strattera was so good. I'm sure other members will be helped from your experience too! So, thanks for sharing! Shalom!
