| New doc, new meds
Well, my wife found me a doctor closer to home (10 minutes on bicycle) very nice very clean and relaxing place. He said "Paxil is short acting. You take it at night and by the afternoon the following day you're feeling like crap." I never knew this about SSRI's. He put me on Fluvoxamine (brand name as Luvox®, Faverin®, Fevarin® and Dumyrox®) saying that it would be better. I take one at dinner around 9pm and 1 before bed aroud 3am (Odd hours, I know). He gave me a different benzo called alprazolam. Apparently better than the current one I'm taking. He said the one I'm taking now is quite mild. He also believes that the Fluvoxamine will help me sleep better and I will be able to push through the day without the benzos over time. Wish my luck this week...
