Are you on the patch to help you quit smoking? That can cause nightmares. I've heard if you have nightmares that you should remove the patch before bedtime and put a new one on in the morning. I just had a couple of those kinds of dreams this week. I usually try to turn the TV on afterward and get my mind on something else that's positive. Whenever I have that kind of nightmare I am trapped in that paralyzed sleep when I can't wake myself up. It takes a lot of time to finally open my eyes and escape the dream. It can really be unsettling. I usually have dreams like that when I'm going through a lot of stress. There is always someone here if you need to post in the middle of the night. Hugs, MG |
