This doesn't happen everyday, so.....

I FEEL GREAT!!!!!!!!

Well, I got the last lab results just about 5 minutes ago. Thyroid is normal. Liver, normal, BP, normal, heart, normal, no more diabetes, kidneys, normal.

Things are slowly falling into place. Over these last 17 months, I've worked my a$$ off to stay on a clean path and stay out of my head. I can't believe I'm still here. I'm so happy right now.

I don't know how else to say it.

I was dying 17 months ago...doctors gave me really s#itty odds. I was in ICU for almost a week...spent 4 months in rehab...did IOP after that. Got therapy....continuing therapy....FU%&ING FACED MY FEARS!!!

Nothing worth having is gotten easily. Sobriety works the same way. God has been hard at work in my life. I'm just blown the F away by the blessings in my life.

I'm so happy I refused to give up this time.

Well, I used to make a good living as an illustrator. So, I've been thinking and I feel like it's time to shake out the rust and get back to work.

I haven't put in any real studio time for 2 years. I'm going to take things slow and do it right this time. I'm not looking for quick or easy cash...i'm out to build a legacy now.

Thanks for all the kind words. This place means a lot to me for support.

I just wanted to check in right quick...I'm doing well. My daughter is back to school next week and I've been moving stuff from storage back to the studio.

Everything else is smooth sailing.
