Eat something sweet (even if fruit does it for you- me, I go for ice cream)
Exercise even if just a short walk
Use the "send myself to bed early" technique- sometimes I still go to bed as soon as reasonably possible, like 7 or 8pm
Call someone or keep on here.

It will pass- and looking back tomorrow, NOT having had a drink, will feel much better than the opposite.

Play the tape through, Lpg.

But don't stop at the part where you're relaxed, and feeling kind of good. That's not the end of the tape. Keep going to the part where you think "If a little bit is good, more is even better!", to the part where you realize you're almost out of booze and need to figure out how to get more. Keep going to the part where you wake up the next day feeling like death, face red and hot, bloated, headache, heart pounding, sweating buckets, mouth feels like a dirty sock, almost throw up when you try to brush your teeth.

That's what your really getting.

I have never used a chat room before so I am not sure what to do. I have been struggling with cravings the last week because of an emotional week
