Life gets better.
Life gets better.
So it's been 42 days.... And I feel amazing. My energy level has been increasing daily. My sleep has gone back to normal, my anxiety has decreased as well. I've had my Anxiety meds decreased from 100mg 4 times a day to 25 mg 4 times a day as needed. My appetite has approved too. I really don't want too go back to the obsession of drinking and the pain of withdrawals and detoxing. I'm working my program, I have a network for the first time and currently looking for a sponsor life is already looking up. and I owe it to recovery. I'm in the process of beginning a new job and it will be the highest paying job I've ever had. I'm just so happy that I'm going into a job for the first time in my life sober.
I'm happy I found these rooms and the rooms of AA and look forward to sharing with you.

You're on the right track! Keep it up. 42 days is AWESOME.
Here's the good news, you never have to drink again. Never. You're sobriety will become habit. You think your life is good now, just give it 6 months. You're in for the ride of your life.
Stay strong my friend and congratulations on the new job and you're sobriety!

Sounds good.
Tomorrow I hit my 90 day mark and I am feeling really good as well.
I was talking to a guy at an AA meeting yesterday and he told me he didn't feel great till he hit nine months sober - he told me he felt so good he cried tears of joy.
