Diary of a Mad Cow, Part XIV: "Happy Birthday to Moo"
Of course I forget, I got like 2 brain cell left!
What else for Turtle Day?! Maybe I walk really slow today and shout rude things at hares.
You know Chik Fil A could hire me as spokesperson. I way cuter than those Holstein. Of course, my omni-sexuality may be problem for them.

What a beautiful post about Hawaii Cow. I've had a few near death experiences in my life. The ones that involved nature, or large pieces of man made machinery, were terrifying and beautiful at the same time.
Funny how for you and me that kind of experience hammers home the realization that there is no god, while for others, it would make them believe a god saved them.

Hi Walk! That true. Lot of people would say "is miracle you survive!" Just like when is earthquake or mass shooting or something, is "miracle" if you survive. I guess everybody who not survive not get miracle or god not like them.
As for Hawaii, I there and I know, I save me. I use logic to surmise I overshot trail and I backtrack and find where I go wrong. I summon strength to hike 4 more hour in near dark out to road and then flag down car. By end, I was hike like those climber on Everest: step, bend over, breathe, rest, step, bend over, breathe, rest. I fighting for my life while all the tropical birdies was chirp and sing. And if it was to be my end, they would just keep chirp and sing, as they should.

Mortality. Get acquainted with it.
Yes, you would be a great spokes...? for CFA. Could you model the new superhero suit we just made this week? It's bright red spandex. There's a mask, too!
These are the former costumes:

... ...but bright red spandex would covers up my total hot 50 year-old, well-marble USDA Prime body.
To be clear, I STILL not like idea of mortality. Especial thought that everything go on without me. Big infinite nothing. Only way I find solace is to think, you know, I was not me before, and I will just go back to be not me. I not will care when I dead, is just thought of being dead that uncomfortable. So stop think about it, right?
PS. Turtle Day slogan: "Mortality: Get used to it!" Great branding, Trach! I think this gonna take off!

Me too! I wish to be consume by nature, like the Native Americans. I wish to be eaten by wolves and mountain lion and bears (but not Teddy!). And then nourish the soil with my elements and minerals. I wish to be part of the cycle. I not understand the tombs and graves and urns to preserve the dead body! Like, who does we think we is!
Turtle Day: Sign up for you rotting corpse experience now!

I change it, it has to be "Death AND Cops!" (We has to generate the excitement that turtles is well known for. )
PS. Trach, thank you (and Walk and others) for be fun and interesting today. I still having heart palps and vertigo, so will no be able to go out to dirtbike or hike today, so is blessing to me.

KittyCat! Congrats!
The weekend astrology forecast isn't all cheery. Virgo and Saturn acting up. Be peaceful with yourselves and don't make any rash decisions. It's not a weekend to remember. So, to give it something memorable, Turtle Day is perfect.
Perhaps we need a song. We will need to wear turtlenecks of course.
