Goal achieved!

Since coming here in 2012 knowing it was quit or end up in serious trouble, I have achieved a goal I always thought was beyond my reach.

I have secured a publishing contract and my book is to be published next year.

I would never have done this if I was still drinking.

Anyone else care to share achievements since they quit drinking?

I have never been so happy in my life

Thank you. I am welling up here. I recognise all your names. I will never forget the role SR and you all played in supporting me through those early dark days.

Deciding to quit drinking was the best decision I have ever made in my life. I have never looked back and never want to go back to that life of self-loathing and regret.
