The Fall and Rise of Vin Baker

How much did alcoholism cost you - $100,000,000?

The fall and rise of Vin Baker - see the linked article below. I hope he's successful in rebuilding his life!

It's only an article of course but it sounds as though he's grateful for the opportunity and back on the right track.

As shocking as they may seem, especially to normal people, these stories are good to hear to remind us where alcoholism can take us.

I myself have spent a small fortune, pretty much everything I had. Not nearly the level of Vin Baker, but nothing to sneeze at. But his story also offers hope that we can turn the ship back around.

Yeah I think losing everything you have affects everyone no matter what that amount is. And it's hard to put a price on losing your soul to alcoholism, which I think happens to most people if they go far enough down the rabbit hole. That's what took me to the brink of death more than any material loss I suffered.

Thanks Fluffer for posting the article.

Here's the full article the other one was based on. He seems to have a great attitude at this point.

Cuz I was sitting on couch for many years not looking after my stocks, I lost half million dollar. This is first time I say this outside of therapy.

Um, I does not have a "great attitude" about it.
