New to all of this....
Hi, group! I'm looking for any and every form of support I can get. I am an alcoholic diagnosed with alcoholic hepatitis. I was sober to two whole months, and have recently relapsed. I feel like I won't ever be able to leave my vodka alone. I'm afraid for my health, I'm afraid to leave my daughter without her only parent, I'm ashamed, and I don't want to live like this anymore. I will be attending my first AA meeting tonight. Wish me luck!!
I just wanted to introduce myself (: I look forward to being active in the group.

Recover is an Action Word
Rather than asking for luck, why not ask HOW others are getting and staying sober? It takes actions on your part to get and stay sober--and it begins with rigorous HONESTY that it cannot be done without outside help.
Begin by changing one thing: Everything you THINK you know about alcoholism and getting sober. Let someone help.

Welcome Hereforsupport.
There are many great people in here with good sobriety and a sound plan that have helped me in my early stage of recovery.
I have no doubt that you are in the right place for support.
Wishing you al the best in your recovery.
