Strat, I just don't know about this, Okra shake....you first, OK? LOL

Tonight we are having steamed veggies. I've been feeling yucky from all the sugar crap from yesterday.

Love from Lenina.

Yeah, Della, you would! LOL. And I'll stand there with the iPhone ready to snap the pic for the book of faces!

Love from Lenina

All this Okra chat got me to thinkin' about all weird Guano I was served in Japan on High Tech Biz Trips. The Wasp Crackers seen below weren't one. I did have Deep Fried Crickets in Taiwan. Not bad, but those lil backward 'prongs' on the Legs can get stuck in your Throat.

This Hand Model could use a Mani, too.

Nope, I don't think I'd bite a wasp biscuit either. Or a cricket cookie. I've eaten some unusual things, like raw herring off a street cart in Amsterdam, it was tasty, but bugs? No.
Nah nope. I don't see it.

Could be I'm just off my feed right now after yesterday and I'm a little triggered now. The old tum doesn't hold up like it used to.

Fried okra is delicious, I hate it in seafood gumbo, to slimy, but it's alright in my possum stew.

I would try the okra smoothie. There are so many other fruits in there, I don't think I'd even taste the okra or the kale.

I am on the fence about bugs in food. If they're well hidden and not moving around, I would be fine with eating them, given the feet and stingers are removed. Eating them just to eat them, not so much, unless I was REALLY hungry.

Exactly, we never know what we would eat if we were truly desperate. I have an ancestor who ate rats in 1870.

OT have you noticed that threads where a certain group of people (namely us here) are involved have a way of turning to very weird subject matters?

Yeah, I have noticed the same thing, but maybe it's the title, "50 shades of okra"? I was half expecting to hear of a romantic interlude between 2 okra. Not weird at all...

DD-I think okra could be good on pizza.

Anything is good on pizza.

Read somewhere....
Pizza is like sex, when it is good, it is really good, when it is bad, it is still pretty good.

Thumbs up

Hey friends

I'm going home!! The team just released me. I got off my i.v. a few hours ago as they are sure I can tolerate fluids. No solids allowed. I'll wait at home for the biopsies taken Sunday and Monday likely nothing to report until earliest is Thursday.

AWESOME!!

Thanks everybody for all the support. I feel the love!!

Later.
