What a weekend. Went to visit my folks. We cooked and ate all weekend. Friday night was burgers and dogs on the grill. Saturday, after much repotting and digging and planting to get the yard ready...a full blown fish fry. Today, Easter dinner following sunrise services. We all have enough leftovers to not need to cook for the week. Was a great time with family.
I am so glad you had a good Easter. I came home from a work Marathon and an overnight shift and just crashed for a few hours.
I think I m going to the supermarket and get me some Peeps or maybe I should wait till tomorrow when they go on sale.
Lenina, I was wondering about Gamera's flight...is he lighting up his gases??

MMMmmm Fried Okra. That's how we Southerners eat it. Had a giant plateful today at the annual family Easter gathering aka "The Clampetts celebrate Easter".
I took a fearless moral inventory of myself, so had to give up okra.....alas.
However, a man was sitting on a bench at the mall today when a 20 something with a mohawk colored in red, green, yellow, orange, blue and purple sat down next to him. The old man kept staring at his hair.
The mohawk kid finally said, "What are you looking at old man? Never seen hair like this before?"
The old man replied, "No I haven't. But I did get so drunk one time that I had sex with a parrot and was wondering if you were my son"
Thank you. I'll be here all week.

Hey Guys. Thanks for the shout outs.
Still feeling exhausted but quickly getting my strength back with the IV hydration. I posted details on the old thread, like Della said. I'm doing good considering. Some of my medical team have commented I look better than they would have expected. Works for me, lol. Takes more than present circumstances to keep this Robot down!!
I'm totally enjoying my visits with Melissa, and all you guys giving to me too really helps to no end!
I'll know more of what is what tomorrow. I'm comfortable and resting well.
Thanks all.

Hi Robby.
Only recently learned about what's going on with you.
Sorry to hear the news, but optimistic that you seem to be doing better.
I don't really talk to God all that much (I hate waiting in line), though I spontaneously say "Thank you" (to whom, I don't know) each time I find my keys, get a seat on the subway or don't fall down the stairs, but I'll put in a good word for you tonight.
Be well, my friend.
