LMAO!

Also plus also, since it YOU thread, you can introduce any topics you like, yes?
Yes, I agree. It was nice of a Turtle to start this thread and then leave it, like a blank canvas to see what others might decide to paint on it. Very nice of him. But now maybe we can see some of the Turtle's own inspiring thoughts? We are creeping up on the big 5 0 0 Turtle. Now or never....

Ok, maybe not never. That's a really long time.

I don't think any threads belong to any particular person on SR. Let each thread go where it wants to.

Yes! Turtle need to come out his shell! (You know, even though that actual would kill a turtle.) But it not have to be inspiring, maybe you just talk about how slow and steady win race, or you thoughts on affordable housing. I kid, I enjoy whenever Turtle talk.

Trach, the weather can be taken off the short list of possibles.

What's wrong with the weather? I like to discuss the weather in the middle of the night or anytime really. Actually I was looking at the topology of the Sierras over the last few days and am reminded how amazing it is to explore the West.

Did somebody say vaginitis? I saw that drug commercial with my 5-year-old son and he asked me what vaginitis was. I should have said, "I don't know" because I don't. But I said that it probably means inflammation of the vagina. That seemed to satisfy him.

And Cow, I've started gardening. I have some tomato and pepper seeds started in my window with a grow light. I've been watching You Tube gardening videos like a mad woman.

how lovely about the gardening, Becky.

i'm feeling a bit mushy at the moment, so i'll just admit it: i often think of us humans as being like seeds: all the potential already there, just add water and right conditions.
which is what we get to do when we sober up. make the conditions right or righter for the growing.

happy gardening to you

I like that Fini. Thank you!

I'm trying to be more nourishing to myself. I'm on day 96. Today was difficult though. It was a beautiful, slightly windy, spring day. Something about having a spring breeze sweep through the house made me want a glass of wine. But I knew that would mean wine again tomorrow, and the next day, then all summer ....

Becky, some days are just like that. Look at the bright side, at least there was no vaginitis.

I'd like to revisit Phoenix. Tour Taliesin West again. Bring a backpack and head out into the Sonoran. That big-space solitude is so good for the soul.

Trach, is also okay to talk of tedious trudge through everyday life and how you make that work for you. That total "profound" and of interest to me.

PS. Fly out to Phx Sunday and I feed you my delicious tiny cabbages! (But I will expect you kills my pappa in exchange.)

I get through the tedious trudge of everyday life by not talking or even thinking about it. I occupy my mind with planning.

If not on our own little threads, in our own little neighborhood, then where?

do we really have to do robert's rules of order in our own sitting room?

Funny thing is, I LONG for tedious trudge of everyday life. So you has achieve by dismissal, what I aspire too. (Okay I totally crib that from when Data tell Q that he achieve in disgrace what Data always aspire to.)

But anyways, Trach, what is you planning?

How to take over the world, Pinky. What else?

How to get a better job. How to move somewhere I want to stay forever. How to age gracefully. The usual stuff.
