Hi Puff, yes, I glad Intervention back and like that first episode update on former episodes. Good to hear from Candy and Jeff! I has all episodes on file and usual watch one every night. The Canadian ones is good too.

Sadly, is high demand for child porn. Nothing surprise me. Is gonna be .porn and .adult addresses now on internet to accomodate increasing glut of porn sites. I sure that what Steve Jobs and Bill Gates have in mind. Oh humans, can you no just has you freak fantasies in you own mind ...like Bunny does.

Moo Mwah, Leshar. Wow, you having "great time." I so glad one of us out of the hole.

Child porn. Please let me be the judge and executioner. I can promise you it will be a most exquisite punishment, soul destroying and matching the crimes. My now retired psychiatrist used to be an expert witness to keep pedophiles locked up in prisons at parole hearings. He told me there was no cure, no healing. It was a hard wired sort of thing. He was a kind, forgiving man but he had second chance slack for offenders. no mercy at all. And I agree.

I did not get okra. It was pouring rain when I left the hotel and my hair kinked up. Got to the offices early so I could glad hand a bit and say hi. Had time to hit the catering folks and they said they would accommodate me with some lovely deep fried okra.

I didn't even mind that we had to take pictures right off and they were to be portrait types so my kinky bangs and frizz could be showcased for the next two years at the HQ. I have to go there maybe two , three times a year. so it's not like I have to look at them.

Meeting gets rolling and I'm told they have arranged a "special" lunch for us that will be brought in so we can continue working. I tried to excuse myself and beat it down to the kitchens but no. We weren't allowed off the floor due to some trumped up security crapola. I did not get my special order okra. My performance will suffer accordingly for the next week. mark my words on this. management pulling this fast Eddie stuff on me...we will see who has the last laugh.

Cow, I'm sorry you're still in the hole. If you're in need of some salacious gossip, I saw a Turtle dressed up in a bunny suit. Now, I am not making any accusations here. Just commenting. There Are photos. In case you're interested.

I like purple. I wear a lot of black as it travels well. I haven't been to Asia. I'm hearing rumors long term scheduling is working on some Asia stuff in two more years. Doesn't appeal to me. I like the food just fine, I don't have a grip on the languages at all. I think it would be like "Lost in Translation"

OK, my headache is raging. Just because I'm sober and mostly peaceful and accountable
Doesn't mean I'm above random pettiness.

Love from Lenina

I like pie too. I have a great zucchini quiche I make with gruyere cheese and brown mustard. Cherry pie is good ala mode. And a nice pumpkin pie! Who doesn't love pumpkin pie?

Seems to be a trend towards green in here.

The more I look at it, the more I like the Easter Turtle.

doing okay, Cow. thanks for asking. since i've decided to do the step-thing, i'm following through. will be doing the step 5-thing in a couple of days. all my crap is coming up about not having done the writing of step 4 properly. or well enough. or even acceptable enough. thoroughly enough. honestly enough.
right.
same old same old

so in fact i'm restless and wish i could do it right NOW. get it over with.

hit me a couple of days ago that doing this means i think it matters. that my life going forward matters to me. in the way that it matters that i need to change it.

hit me also that i've never really "spilled it" without being drunk.
sober, always holding something back.

okay. there you have it.

and in addition to having no favourite colour i'm no fan of okra, either.
i'll put it on my defect list.

I have never been secretive about my favorite color.

The rest of my sordid life isn't sordid at all. I left sordidity behind in the 90s. Except that one time.

*what do you mean, spellcheck? Sordidity should be a word. hrmpf.

Fini, not to try and take your inventory for you, I don't believe okra dislike is a character defect. Perhaps a culinary one, but not character. Good job on moving forward. Please do let us how you feel after your complete your fifth step.

And I believe it does matter. For me, as I went through them the meaning and usefulness of the steps became more clear. I did experience a lift in my general mood. I never had that pink cloud though.

Good work!

Love from Lenina

Bim! How tintilating of you! Do expand. We promise not to blab. Espeically about that one time. The 90's huh? You were a late bloomer, then?

No.

Not a late bloomer. A late reformer.

My doctor tells me about an alcoholic relative of his who ended up in jail but who has mostly turned his life around.

Of this relative it was said by a clergyman, "There is no such thing as failure, only delayed success."

AH!
feel better already. thanks! culinary defect i can handle. just like fashion faux pas.
i have no expectation about "after" step five. i do have trouble, leading up to it, to remember that it's not this big bad thing hanging over me that i need to get done but something that will be helpful and healthy for me. and something i've freely chosen to do.
exactly because it matters.

thanks for your encouragement, Lenina.

Ya, Lenina this Child Porn thing has really thrown me. I hated even typing it out and I almost didn't post it. However, I just found out about it and I was still so shocked I couldn't get it out of my mind. How does someone get wired that way? I agree that nothing truly surprises me anymore but I guess I always still hope that deep down people essentially know "right" from "wrong". Anyhow, I'm so glad I already cut this guy out of my life but I think of all those times that he gave me free shots and so forth that I would just love to forget the whole thing. All those bar room conversations, Ugh
Go Away!

That was weird. Usually double posts aren't that far apart.

I'm intimidated by East Asia because I can't read the scripts. Southeast Asian scripts are more do-able, mostly. North Indian languages aren't that hard, and a lot of people speak some English -- it's no worse linguistically than Spain. South Indian languages are much harder, but silence is good for you, sometimes. Spending a lot of time in Southeast Asia is a real experience in being extended beyond your expectations. You have to surrender to the norms of that world or you'll be miserable. It pushes against your pride and belief in personal power.

I think this is near where we lived -- it's a lot more built up now, and motorbikes were rare then. No denim. More animals.
