I'm here. Happy Birthday Sober-Me :D
Thanks.
I bought a new handbag (a little one, seeing as I don't need to sneak extra booze in anywhere now ) and went out for steaks with my (drinking) partner, and talked about AA and The Steps and my year (and a bit about his drinking as well, but not much - that's HIS side of the street, and trying to help him sweep it would not go well).
It was a great birthday. It seemed so much more special and important than a 'normal' birthday. Hard to explain that to people unless they're from SR, AA or also recovering addicts of some kind.
