In my drunken stupor...
@Dee
What type of plan are you suggesting? I have 4 beers left and no money. I just embarrassed myself in another forum yesterday. glad you took that down. My plan is to do a quick taper... but I think I want to go all day without drinking.... I'll see if I can hack it... start all over again.

Having a sober plan is a plan of things youl do in recovery to strenghten your sobriety
might be working a programme might be going mtns keeping a daily journal
it could be going to group therapy talking & being honest with a Dr about your addiction
could be speaking to a counsellor or an addiction counsellor
Theres lots of things that you can help yourself with
For me acceptance is always key you dont need to drink and you can learn that by stopping youl find some small piece of happiness you can call your own
you 5000% can do this i know because i done this
Good luck LoJ

well, I had 8 beers yesterday. I have 4 in my stash in case things get really bad. I am a very sensitive person... my body is. I enjoy being sober more than being under the influence. Now I have to start all over again. Should I taper or not? I think I just want to leave those 4 beers and not touch them. It was what my sister did.... she has been sober for 4 years now.

I had to get rid of all alcohol in the house. I had to find a new place to go grocery shopping so I wouldn't be near my old familiar liquor stores. Sometimes I had to drive a completely different way home. I could never have kept four beers in the house--they'd have been gone very quickly!
