13 months!

My monthly check in post: The desire and cravings really seemed to lift entirely for me over the last month (at one year). I've had plenty of reasons to drink, but none of them are compelling enough to actually pick up. Still sorting through how to deal with stress and strong emotions, but the emergency trap door of alcohol has lost its allure. I know it doesn't make things better (understatement), and I am grateful daily to not be hungover.

I work in the wine industry these days (temporary holiday job) and I'm still sober. I'll be glad to move on from it, but I think being surrounded by wine has helped solidify my commitment to sobriety.
