The Thing About Snow...

I grew up in a country where we really have seasons (well maybe not anymore given all the climate changes). Interestingly, when I was a kid, up to ~my mid 20's, I much preferred summer and spring. Now my favorites are fall and winter. And I love the snow when it's fresh but admit when it gets unpractical, not so much.
I do relate to this, though
One of my all time favorite activities is going to hot spring spas in the winter or when it's snowy, especially in the mountains. I think I would never get bored with that. I spent last New Years' in a place like that... unfortunately mostly drunk. Now I have another similar little holiday booked, coming soon, stone cold sober... I mean snow cold sober... in the hot water, steam, sauna etc. Can't wait!
