Had a slip last night :(
LBrain,
is awright, i don't have no defects either
chocolate.
ja. i like it. and have some every day. i don't know exactly why being moderate with that is possible for me now for the last decade or so, but my theory is that it's because i stopped telling myself i couldn't have it. having it be "forbidden" made the ****-it switch go off at times, and then all the negativity after.
i added one restriction about six months ago, after i read an entire book on cocoa-growing: Carol Off's Bitter Chocolate: Investigating the Dark Side of the World's Most Seductive Sweet, which almost took away any and all desire to eat the stuff at all...i decided i can only justify buying/eating fair-trade certified.
oh. maybe we shouldn't be on this thread talking about eating it...

Not sure if LBrain is going to appreciate my posting a chocolate recipe here but since this one is paleo and healthier than standard chocolate, I will go ahead.
.5 cup coconut oil
.5 cup cocoa or cacoa powder
2 to 3 tablespoons honey
.25 teaspoon vanilla
Mix it together, pour into chocolate mold, freeze for half hour. Keep refrigerated or frozen to maintain hard texture.

Thanks jennie. I decided to give the whole 30 thing a break. Just eating well and staying pretty :lose to it. That was part of my joke on slipping. Anyway, we just watched an old Italian movie from 1957. Found out netflix is down and had the urgenfor ice cream. Ate a peach and some almonds rather than going out to find ice cream. I have zall the ingredients you listed. Top quality linden honey ... shameful to use it to make chocolate but I'm gonna try it.
Oops, no coconut oil.
