What's your IQ?

I know I'm sticking my neck out by asking this but I'm curious. I know I'm sticking it out more by answering first but somebody has to do it if it's to have any chance of having meaningful results. I hope others will be interested enough to help. I suspect the results will be skewed but I'm curious by how much. Up to you guys...

130. I never claimed to be a genius. I make up for it in looks. (kidding)

I believe if you are the smartest person in the room then you are in trouble.

That'd be the "spoon"
Apparently codependent and offensive

Lol these poll results are full of it... Firstly, an IQ test only measures your ability to do that particular test. Secondly IQ tests on the internet do not count as they are not standardised. That test that popped up on your newsfeed on facebook is useless.

Also at the time of posting, 5 out of 8 consider themselves to be "Very Gifted" with and IQ over 140, That's 62% which is severely anomalous compared to all studies in IQ. So unless this forum is a sleeper cell for MENSA I find this all highly unlikely.

The result I posted is from the supervised MENSA test I took at the Barbizon hotel 30 years ago. I am not a member.

I took a standardized test long ago. I was in the 130's but I don't remember the exact number. It was less than MENSA accepted, though. I think the tests are pretty suspect anyway.

Politically incorrect numbers. What will we think of next? Three maybe? Lol.

I agree. Lots of biases have been discussed. Somewhat indicative I think anyway.

What is the expectation on the question? We self select for SR, self select for reading threads, self select for replying to threads, and self select yet again for voting in a poll. We can even fib all to heck, either way up or down, if we do vote. There will be no conclusion you can make about alcoholics and addicts, about people who are SR members, even people who reply to the poll.

What do you imagine you can learn from this?

I had three standardized psychological tests: one in kindergarten, one when
I was ten, and one when I was 15. Unfortunately, I burned out a lot of brain cells between then and now. Bottom line: I come off just above average.

In the first grade I was put in advance classes. I went to governors school 7 times. Graduated with an advance degree.

I also told people I was the dumbest person I know. Being fairly bright and being an alcoholic sorta even each other out. Sober I'm actually intelligent. Drunk? I'm more like Forest Gump.
