Glad to see you back with us boris. I'm glad it didn't turn into a long binge - congrats on your Day 4. It sounds like you learned something valuable.

Day 4 can be very good! At least you didn't stay out. I've had a lot of Day 4's before I hit the jackpot for several years-Oh by the way I'm right there with you-we can kick this for good!

Tomsteve. My way of coping with life is to laugh at myself but i do understand it may not be to everyones taste. I am serious about giving up alcohol. Im just not a serious type of person

I like to laugh at myself too, Boris. I think it just seems that the lol at the end makes it sound like, oh well, and a bit flippant.

So you understand why you chose to drink and what you will do in future when confronted with the same situation?

Good job. Day 4 after a single night of drinking is a LOT better than day 4 after years of drinking. You've got it physically under control, but the mental control is more taxing in the long run (but at least that part won't kill you).
