| If we were a sporting team...
Sometimes I think of my regular A.A. meeting like a sporting team. There's the veterans who have been there a long long time, and they know their stuff. they've seen it all. Then there's the rookies, the new people who are scared, don't know what to do, and are frightened and shy. I also like to think that the rookies have one small thing to feel good about, they have made the right choice. Think of it as Draft day, you have been drafted onto this team to make your life better. I can identify which veteran can help me the most. I can also take away something new each and every meeting from the day to day players. I'm glad to be part of this team, and hope to one day be a veteran who can help a rookie when he/she walks in the door... |

| You have that part wrong my man. Newcomers help me at every AA meeting I've ever been to.
