how long does full detox take?

how long does full detox take after heavy drinking?

i used to drink daily, then i managed to cut down to weekends only but
realized i was would drink till blacking out, every week, 1-2 days a week and spend another day or 2 drinking lightly just to recover.

think i might be more of a heavy drinker than an alcoholic so, im trying to detox, don't have withdrawals because quit drinking daily a while ago, but how long to get all the toxins out of your system?

It depends on a magnitude of things and I am no expert but 30~ days sounds like it may do the trick for you. I could be way wrong though

I drank 6 beers a night for 10 years, give or take some days---some being more beer, some none, mostly 6 a night. I could have been drinking more, but I stopped at that 6 mark. I had no real physical withdrawals---no shakes, just some perspiring, and being tired for about 3 days. I'm not sure about detox for me, I was just okay after that. I had also stopped smoking weed 4 days before I stopped drinking. ??

It didn't make me any less of an alcoholic. Alcohol was my solution for many years. It's not how much or how often one drinks, it's what it does for us....

Give yourself 90 days. Every day without alcohol is more clear than the one before, even at 9 months of no alcohol or any other substance.

Do you mean the "physical" detox? What caused me the most discomfort and is taking the longest is the "mental, emotional and spiritual" cleansing I require to live comfortably in my own skin.
Whether you are an alcoholic or not will soon become apparent......
Hang in there matty !!

I think that would depend on a lot of factors Matt - your general fitness, how much you drank and for how long, the condition of your liver etc...

this article says 6 weeks if that's any help
