45 year old alcholic.Fell into the booze again. Want sobriety badly. Starts today. Feel like hell.
Tired off it. New job on Monday want to be feeling good and confident.
Detox is difficult

Thanks I'll get through it. Been here many times before, unfortunatelly. Will check in a meeting Sat when I feel a little better. My mood is positive and am looking forward to being clean again. Just need to vent. My significant other doesnt get it and I need some venue of support. Besides I'd prob shake off the waiting room chair. LOL

these are the worst. im at about 36 hrs right now and typing this is hard as hell. and writing things down at work is damn near impossible. as is drinking a cup of water.
ive also slept like crap the past 2 nights.

good luck though to u superman. i got to the point wher i found myself going to a liquor store on my lunch break every day for a few nipper bottles just to hold me over until i got home. we got this brotha

I suggest focusing on today ... it's only today you don't drink. Call another alcoholic, we all understand each other. And please be gentle with yourself .... this can be a good learning experience. Good luck! Please let us know how it's going.
