Thank you for posting. Relapse is a part of many peoples story. Of course, some are able to get sober the first time. I have been in and out of recovery for over 8 years. Thankfully, this last relapse only lasted a few days. It was pretty bad & I'm amazed how quickly I become physically addicted to booze. I didn't get DT's like in the past but still had to use my old prescription of ativan to come off the booze. I blackout after only 2 or 3 drinks and I have very few memories of my bender.

I don't find them scary at all...they don't read like relapses to me just taking another drink...
