Working the next 4 days, keeps my mind off of it for 1/2 the day. Foggy head but feel pretty good physically despite the lack of sleep.

i too am on day four. Appetite increasing but augmenting this with a lot of working out at the gym. finding that I am somewhat of an insomniac though. Congrats Goofyish, I'm proud of you!

Congrats! I'm on day 4 as well strangely enough. Today was a difficult one, finished work at 5ish and work colleagues invited me out to an event that has just arrived in town, and I knew it'd revolve around the beer tent. The forecast of heavy rain and that I didn't want to undo three consecutive days in the gym plus my new resolve helped get through that one. I have work late tomorrow and won't finish until Sunday morning, then am not in until Tuesday so Sunday afternoon is the next danger period, after that I'm in work for a week constant so if I avoid drinking Sunday, I'll make it to two weeks as I never drink before a work shift. Good luck all, hopefully we can celebrate two weeks together

Keep it going, it only gets better. I damn near died from a relapse, you don't need to go there.

Any quotes from the big book of AA are from the first edition, or are otherwise exempt from copyright infringement under the "fair use doctrine".
