| 3 Weekends and Still no "Lure"
I just had my 3rd weekend scotch-free. Amazingly enough, I have not been sitting around wishing I could drink. I haven't had that "lure", you know, "it'll be ok, just this once." That sort of thing. I am at my desk, now, with no feelings of depression (unlike before the last 3 weeks). I haven't fixed the eating/exercising problem, yet, but it is next on my list. I have started back walking a bit. No more gloomy feelings. |

ya I hear you OP. I have been asking my sponsor why it feels a lil too easy for me to be sober right now. For me I was starting to doubt whether I was really an alcoholic. She said that was my alcoholic mind at work and said she had the same feelings in the beginning of her sobriety because when your in the clarity of sobriety you tend to forget the **** that led you to seek help. Idk if any of this applies to you, but nonetheless hang in there and great job!
