Sounds great DK. I'm glad you were able to be open and honest in the first place. This all sounds like steps in the right direction. For what it's worth, the inpatient (12-step) treatment I did was WAY worth it. I sure thought I knew a lot of stuff. Turns out I think too much.

I know what you mean, PD. My inpatient was way worth it too. I actually have fond memories of the experience. Even though I didn't end up staying sober, I learned a lot and it gave me a base. And yesterday, just casually chatting with Jim as we were going through all the formalities was really therapeudic. We really didn't clash at all and concurred on many issues. I'm actually looking forward to going back.
