Did I just screw up? Soy Sauce?

Right after I finished my Japanese fish with rice and salad, I happened to glance at the bottle of soy sauce and noticed "alcohol added to preserve freshness."

What's the deal with that? How the heck am I going to go out and enjoy Sushi without soy sauce?

Grrrrr.....

Hmmm.....I did'nt even know they put alcohol in some soy sauces. The one I have has no alcohol in it.

I am sure you can find sauces that are alcohol free so don't sweat it.It just means we have to be more vigilant in what we use in our food.

Okay, checkd my soy sauce in the frig. NO alcohol in Kikoman, so you can still enjoy it in your meals. I use soy sauce alot and that was bugging me all day. But it does make me more vigilant like Peter said in checking the labels!
