2 Years Sober - Thank You - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi All

Not had a chance to sit and write in - still recovering from a holiday with a four year old and a 15year old!!!!

Well I celebrated my 2nd year of sobriety on Wed 4th October and I feel fantastic.

Shared at my wee group today and the support I got was fantastic.

I've said thanks to them and thought it only right to thank everyone on these boards who have shared their ESH and their honesty.

I love being sober and am glad to say that my 'wee monkey' is still off my back. I know that it could return at any time - but at least through talking to other alcholics I know what to do if it does.

All I can say is hang in there if you're finding things tough. I struggled and found it hard but believe me - it has been worth it.
