Have any of you guys seen that biographical video on Bill W and the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous? Its called My Name is Bill W, and its actually a pretty good flick. I've only seen it on VHS though, does anyone know if theres a DVD release coming up anytime soon?

Welcome to SR!... I don't know as I copied mine from the orginal Hallmark Playhouse production. I really think the scene where he is trying to explain to Lois how he feels makes the show, Do come again and share your ES&H in another thread.

It is a great movie. I think the DVD release is new (was limited to VHS before) So it will be great to see in high digital quality. I had a group I went to when I was younger that would rent out the projection room at a local college and show films having a DVD also makes it easier to distribute (for more AA's to see) so this is definitely great news. |

Yes, We watched it the other night here at the V A Hospital. It was a nice feeling, when someone was listing movies available, everyone spoke up for "Hello, I'm Bill W." This was after hours in our meeting area. Everyone kept saying how this part and that part hit home. Don W
