travelling to London England - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi all! Haven't been around much -- have lurked from time to time over the past few years, but mostly do f2f meetings (4-5 a week usually). Anyway, I'm travelling this week to London and would love to get to a meeting while I'm over there. I'm only going over for 4 days, but I thought is would be fun!

I've looked up some stuff on line, but I really have no idea what's where etc. Can anyone out here help me find some meetings? I'm staying at the KWest one night and would really love to find one near there. Also will be staying in Oxfordshire for a bit which would work as well.

Although I am not a member of AA, I know there is about 600 meetings in London, and I have been to many of them.

The most popular for tourists, it seems, is the one at HINDE STREET in WEST LONDON. Its on at 1pm every day of the week, but not at weekends.

yep, sometimes they are right in the hotel
also, check the phone book
or
local papers
there may be a listing

you can also call intergroup
i'm sure they have a database
and
can at least give you an intergroup number for london

Hi There

this is the AA website where there is a link to UK meetings: www.alcoholics-anonymous.org.uk and when you are in London you can call the AA number: 0207 8330022. I know there's a good one on Saturday in Orange Street, near Leicester Square at 17:00, but they're all good.
