Is this nutty???/Help

Is it nutty to go to 2 meetings at the same place on my 30th day? I want my 30 day chip at the closed meeting & then I want my family to see me get a chip at the open meeting. I don't want to seem greedy.
Is this crazy or OK?
Thanks yall!!!

Congrats on the 30 days....that's a toughy

Do whatever you want it's your recovery.
Celebrate your recovery, celebrate your acomplishments.
celebrate your life.
Wihtout a drink or a drug..How else are we going to learn
how to celebrate without getting wacked? Meetings are like
test beds or where we learn or practice.

Hell no it's not being greedy!! You get as many 30 day chips as you want and let everyone know what you're doing. You're taking a big step in making life changes and I don't know about you, but I need all the help and support I can get. I'm proud of you. You just hang in there.

What Music said.
Hell no!
What a blessing that your family gets to share with you.
That's huge, for those there less fortunate.

I did something very similar when I finally got through my first year. I had planned for a while to have my family come to a meeting a few days after my actual anniversary day where my sponsor was giving me her one year chip. Then, on the actual day, I ended up being off work and went to a meeting where they were giving out chips and went ahead and got one there. I talked to a few people about it and none thought that was particularly wrong. Shout it from the highest mountain-top, if you wish!

Keep on keepin' on!!!
