| Illness and Attitude
I've been recovering from the 9 extractions I had. The first few days were fine with the excitment of my new smile. However, the off and on pain from a combination of trying to eat and gum pain. Then the fact that I'm hungry. The last few days has taken a toll on my attitude. I'm fighting the best I can. I've set a goal of trying not to act on my attitude. I'm keeping myself from snapping at people. There is a difficult empolyee that works for me that I want to scream at and choke. I've resorted to taking advantage of being a boss and locking myself in my office. Should illness have this much of an effect on my attitude. Pray and give it time, I guess. Don W

Thanks Ted, Also, my family has always joked, the only thing meaner than a hungry bear is a hungry Wallace. Sadly, just heard one of the girls that works at the hospital got word her daughter was killed in a car crash in Tenn. She was only 19 and just started college. Her mother, Helen, just started a few months ago and was so excited about her new job to help pay for her daughter's college. Many are going to donate earned time to help keep a paycheck comming in. I'll take a little mouth pain anyday. Don W

Oh man, Don.... that's rotten news re the daughter of the hospital employee! Have you learned the goodness of soup, yogurt, milk, pudding, mashed potatoes, ice cream, and such things yet? An in pain Collins (me) might give an in pain Wallace a run for his money in the nastiness dept I have complete faith that you'll come thru this with flying colors!

Thanks Again, I'm feeling better today. Things take time although being an alcoholic, I still want things now. We're talking about someone, ( me ) drunk used to pull his own teeth and then go back in and drink somemore. The dentist used his tools and I, like the rest of you, must use mine. My wife gave me a good idea. Just keep remebering that this will get better and the pain will go away. Don W
