Just for today-Better

I need to remind myself of this every day. I drank to reach oblivion..... to pass out. Later I learned that passing out was one step from coma. I remember waking up from this, heart racing, breath ragged. Then drinking another drink with the aim of passing out.

Even the day when my ignition got effed up is better than one of those drinking days.
