I used to live in meetings, meetings and more meetings. Then, I found a Sponsor in all Three Legacies of Alcoholics Anonymous who walked with me into becoming a member of a homegroup, family, community, and society. A life I never thought possible replaced my only surviving the next ordeal.

Today I am becoming a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous. I venture out into a world where I once felt like an Alien. I thought I had been adopted by a human family following the crash in Roswell, NM. :bluesky:

Thank God for AA and thank AA for my relationship with God and you all!

Winds may blow and waves may crash upon the bow, but the sails are set with a certainty never before understood. A course has been set and the journey is -- so wonderful. It becomes a never ending story through the Steps, Traditions, and Concepts since my devastating weakness was accepted. The Common Solution, Unity & Service is incredible.
