| Now Now from: "On a Winter Day" "I knew I had to have a new beginning, and this beginning had to be here. I could not start anywhere else. I had to let go of the past and forget the future. As long as I held on to the past with one hand and grabbed at the future with the other hand, I had nothing to hold on to today with. So I had to begin here, now." © 1973, Came to Believe…, page 46 Learning how to live in Just For Today was not an easy task for me. With all the guilt and remorse I had about my past and the haunting memories of it, my past was hard to let go. And then always worrying about what would happen to me in the future. Will I be okay, where will I live, will I go back out, etc, etc. So my future was haunting me also. It seemed that once I learned how to, "just not drink," "One Day At A Time," eventually I started to learn how to live in just today. Do what I can do for today. Just do the right thing and do my best, just for today. I can't change my past doings and I can't forsee the future, so I take care of what I can, for today. God Bless, Harry

And it's good to be back around here. Hope I can be of help and without a doubt I know I can get help here. Hard to really be around on a regular basis, but I will try my best to try to get here more often if I can. God bless SoberRecovery and all the people involved. Harry
