so im in a long term psych ward been here for 4 months kicking methadone i am clean and sober today and i want to get started with the 12 steps...i know not everyone on this site follows the 12 step model but if you have a year or more in aa/na and have a working knowledge of the 12 and 12 please let me know if you could help out..

my DOC's are heroin and cocaine....if it matters.

i have no access to AA where i am, no groups come in which is a total bummer...i tried calling central service for boston to see if someone could help me but i had no success

I was going to suggest that you copy your post to the Narcotics Addiction-12 Step Support forum.
But, in looking over there, it seems like not many of us post there.
Still couldn't hurt to ask over there.
