Please say a prayer for Scott a long time member of my fellowship who struggled for many years to find the solution. He was a decent person, a very wealthy and powerful man who had to try and test the waters once again to "be sure".

They say some must die so others can live. No amount of money, no amount of power can beat this disease, it comes from within when we allow ourselves to become willing and spiritualy fit. So I pray that Scott will now find peace and freedom from his disease in his heaven and ask you to remember him in your prayers today.

I do not believe that God singles some out to die, so that others can live.

What I believe the difference is between those who are sober and working it, and those who are still drinking or have gone back out is this:

"Those who are still drinking or have gone back out, simply decline to take actions that they do not agree with"

I heard that from Clancy I, at an AA conference in Arkansas, and when he shared that from the podium, I almost fell off my chair, it is so simple and yet so very true.

I am saying a prayer for Scott and his family.
