Hi all ! Since I have been on vacation, I have had the opportunity to attend meetings I have never been to before . On Thursday last , I travelled alone,by train, 1 hour each way. to a meeting in an area I had never visited before . Now this is something I could not even have contemplated doing a couple of months ago! It was a beautiful day, and as I was sitting in the train, I thought how Blessed I am to have the Unity and Fellowship of AA. I was going to a place I had never been, to meet people I had never met , yet , I felt assured of a friendly handshake , and a welcoming smile , such is the consistency of the Fellowship and the Programme . It was just as I imagined , I made new friends , who understood me instantly, got 2 new phone numbers, and had coffee afterwards with a new friend ! All in alll, a very productive , and therepeutic day lol I came home feeling very content ! Thanks for letting me share HUGX Lee |

Our Spiritual community is indeed worldwide isn't it Lee? No matter what city, we can always find the comfort of a room. To be able to sit and listen, or share if we choose to do so. Yes my dear friend, there is security in our fellowship. Love to you Lee, Dan |

Lovely Lee! Your so right, one of my goals is to travel to various meetings. I love my fellowhship here, but want to experiance what you have. I'm looking forward to it this summer where I plan to do what you did, take the time to reflect and just be on the way to a new meeting.

I remember the first time I went to visit my parents who live in central Florida. I think I was more excited to be able to go to meetings there than I was to see my parents. I love that I can go to AA meetings out of town. They do it a little differently than what I'm used to, but I enjoyed it!

Lee, that is so awesome. I thought about you tonight at our meeting. We had a out of town guest from Mexico, he told us about all the meetings he attends all over the world. This is such a awesome fellowship. Enjoy your vacation Lee. Love you.
