I'm very grateful for waking up sober this morning: No hangover No blood, no bruises I feel like eating, not drinking my breakfast The car is in the garage, un-damaged WIFE is next to me I know where the kids are No buddies passed out in the basement House is clean I have some money in my pocket Also in sobriety: I still have morning breath It still rains when I want the sun The porch still needs to be swept I still have to pay the bills The lawn still needs mowed The dog still have to pick up dog crap in the yard -------------------------------------------------------- The world and life goes on whether sober or drunk. The first set of situations were always within my control, but being full of drink, I didn't care. The second set were never within my control, but without the drink and the help of my HP I have to tools to accept them and act in a positive manner towards them. To all those who want it, have a good Easter weekend. To those who don't care, I wish you a good weekend. Al...
