| Trudging that road. | "Life will take on a new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to have a host of friends--this is an experience you must not miss. We know you will not want to miss it. Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other is the bright spot of our lives." ~ Alcoholics Anonymous 1st Edition - 3rd Edition Working With Others pg 89 c Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, INC. |

I find it a true miracle to watch someone who used to be beaten down, with little hope for themselves, blossom into a joyous human being, wanting to help another. I think our HP looks down and says "ah, yes, that is why I created the world".

I have begun to see a change in one of my sponsees. Just a smile here and there where they didnt used to be one. A full on laugh that would have been held in before. An aura of ease and comfort replacing an aura of anger and anxiety. I know am begining to understand what people meant when they told me that they enjoyed watching me grow in the program. It's a blessing cycle instead of a viscious one!
