I can relate to this a lot. A couple days in to sobriety I could look at the circumstances surrounding how I got so messed up and then how I got sober and see an overwhelming prescence of God. I had the 'spectacular upheaval' kind of spiritual experience. My whole has been different ever since.

Long story about how I finally realized I could not control my drinking, and that I was an alcoholic. I feel it was a Divine presence that finally touched my soul and helped me realize that. I can't explain it any other way
