Arrow Big Book Quote

"In this statement he confirms what we who have suffered alcoholic torture must believe—that the body of the alcoholic is quite as abnormal as his mind. It did not satisfy us to be told that we could not control our drinking just because we were maladjusted to life, that we were in full flight from reality, or were outright mental defectives. These things were true to some extent, in fact, to a considerable extent with some of us. But we are sure that our bodies were sickened as well. In our belief, any picture of the alcoholic which leaves out this physical factor is incomplete."

Ain't that the truth. Mental obsession and a physical craving.

So how do you pick these quotes? Are you going line by line in the book or is there a random big book quote generator out there or something?

Rob I get them several ways. Sometimes I go to the book and pick random ones. Then at other times I go to my FB because I get daily quotes sent to me. Lastly there is an e mail that I get that has all of them. Sometimes its hard when I jump around because I am not sure if I repeat them or not? Lol. Why are they to something for ya?

Newby lately the quotes are uncannily been addressing the issues that have been preying on my mind and robbing me of any serenity.

Rob
I like the idea of a random big book quote generator. Is there an app for that ? LOL
