Some if you might remember that I had a sponsor that wasn't a good fit. She was controlling, yelled, and did not have anything I wanted. She generally made me anxious.

I hit the jackpot. She is serene and understanding but gives me the feedback I need in a gentle way. I am about to do a 4th step again, a completely thorough one and I am kind of looking forward to it.

If you don't think you have the right sponsor, get another one! It makes all the difference in the world.

Good sponsors create other good sponsors. Looks like you are on your way to being one!

cool beans!! i had that problem, but took a few years before i saw it. it took another member with many years of sobriety that my sponsor at the time didnt like comin into meetings i was at, then approaching me after and asking me, "tom, i listened to what ya said, but im not sue i know where the BB says to do that. maybe i'm understanding it wrong, can ya point it out to me?"
took a few times of hearing this before i saw i was taught quite a manipulated program that allows for arrogance,pride, and severe ego inflation.
