Smile Acronym for Fear

What does FEAR stand for?

F. E. A. R.
False Evidence Appearing Real

My sponsor shared this acronym with me this morning.. I thought it was cool!

xoxoxoxoxoxo

What I've learned:

RECOGNIZE WHAT YOU ARE AFRAID OF.(don't deny-identify-overcome)
KNOW THE SOURCE OF YOUR FEAR.(where is it coming from)
CHECK THE REALITY OF YOUR FEAR. (many times not real)

Fear keeps us in bondage... there is FREEDOM when we let go of fear..we see things with clarity.. "What's the worst thing that can happen".. not always as bad as we imagine...

SO in come PEACE when we let go of fear... problem not solved, but peace to face it head on..

THEN: we are no longer powerless to do something and we can take ACTION & have CONFIDENCE

ANYONE DEALING WITH THE 4TH STEP??? INTERESTING BLOG...

FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real

"Do the thing you fear most and the death of fear is certain." Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Bless you for your fear for it is a sign of wisdom. Do not hold yourself in fear. Transform the energy to flexibility and you will be free from what you fear."
— Yoko Ono

I give you back- Poem by Joy Harjo...she seems happy to give her fear away!
